Welcome to 5A

Dear 5A,
I hope all of you had a wonderful year-end holiday, and you are now fully refreshed and recharged to embrace the new year and new challenges.

From this morning's interactions, I'm glad to observe that most of you are comfortable and familiar with one another. I suppose you have also understood the expectations of the teachers at Primary 5. Well, I hope the message of respecting one another and being a responsible learner comes across clearly. Like we discussed this morning, being attentive in class reflects your respect to the teacher and classmates who are, like you, here to learn. Also, ensuring you complete your work and submit your work on time reflects your sense of responsibility.

Like we discussed today, we will draw up our class rules by end of this week- rules that both teachers and pupils agree to be reasonable and fair. Then we will be able to abide by the rules and enjoy our learning in class, in school and with one another.

Let's make the extra effort to break away from bad habits of learning and start afresh with the right attitude. I'm certain we can achieve much when we put our mind to it!
